Namaskar
We as a family were travelling from bangalore to chennai on the night of April 18. It must have been around 11:00p.m when I noticed a bright orange star or was it… since it was not the blinking one and was more like a planet but at the distance of the cloud formations. At first, I thought it must be a light from a bulb but at that height?!!! I then asked my husband, Sai ji, to slow down and stop over on one side. He did and he too saw the star. As we were observing , there was suddenly a light that lit up the ground a little far away from the highway on the left in a circular pattern. Sai ji wondered why was there lightning in that particular area when there was no sign of rain. That is when we realised that this light lit up the sky from the ground whereas lightning comes down from the sky. As we were discussing, our daughter, Maitreyi noticed that this star which started moving slowly, as it lit up its path, in a beam. As it approached we noticed it could definitely not be a helicopter nor an aeroplane since there were no blinking lights and it was in a closer range and no sound too!!! It moved right above us and after that it could not be sighted. We moved from that site.
Then it struck us that the land that lit up was the Dharmakshetra area since we came to the kanchipuram deviation in a short while. We understood that the divine is present and working high in that area and we are blessed, we could witness such a unique phenomenon.
